Downloading a QR Code and Adding It to Media
Downloading a QR Code and Adding It to Media with pbSmart Codes by Pitney Bowes from Pitney Bowes Small Business on Vimeo.
pbSmart Codes allows you to download a QR code from any of your campaigns to create a new QR code image. You can then place the image across a variety of media to expand your audience and drive traffic to your website or local sales.
It takes only 3 steps to download and embed your QR code:
1. Define the Campaign
Create a new QR campaign by going to the Create New Campaign tab and choosing your media. After you have created your QR code, you can download it to printed media like a poster, business card or stationary or onto a promotional item like a hat, t-shirt or keychain. Or, you can also simply create and download your QR code.
2. Download Your QR Code as an Image File
After you complete your campaign, you can download your QR code as an image file. Click the My Campaigns tab to see your list of campaigns.
Click the View magnifying glass to view the QR code or the Download arrow in the Media column to download it. Don't forget to select your preferred file format—PDF, JPEG or PNG.
You can also test your QR code on this page to see if it works. Once you have completed this section, you are ready to click the Download button and grab your QR code.
3. Place Your QR Code into Different Types of Media
Once you've downloaded your QR code, you can place the image into various media. For example:
- Insert it into a Word file and use it in a marketing brochure, on envelopes, in promotional material or on your company letterhead.
- Embed the QR code into your email signature to link to your full profile or contact information.
- Print your QR code on product labels to provide users with key benefits or new usage ideas.
The possibilities are endless!
pbSmart Codes also allows you to create a QR only campaign. For more information about this method, view the Creating QR Only Campaigns video in the Learning Center.
